Solid PTFE sheet cut into dimensioned rectangles, blanks and flat profiles. Specify thickness, length, width and whether edges or faces need machining.

These components are made to the required geometry. The drawing defines the finished dimensions and interfaces.

For a finished flat component, give the required outside dimensions. For a machining blank, include enough allowance for the faces and edges that will be finished later.
Molded and skived sheet are different starting forms. Select the sheet construction and thickness against flatness, handling and the final component requirement.
Solid PTFE sheet has no woven fiberglass carrier. A release cloth may look similar in a photograph but responds differently to cutting, clamping and bending.
If the sheet forms a sealing profile or patterned insulator, send the completed outline. The corresponding gasket or insulation page provides the more specific component requirements.
